Smoke detectors react to fire gases, which are far more dangerous than the fire itself. Around two thirds of all fire victims are caught by fire while they are sleeping. The poisonous gases can be fatal after just a few breaths.

The FireAngel 230 V smoke detector uses Thermoptek technology to quickly and safely detect all fires. It is often used when a redundant power supply is required. It is equipped with a 10-year lithium backup battery and a W2 radio interface for accommodating a W2 radio module. This means that the smoke detector can be networked with others wirelessly or by cable.
