The W2 radio module - also with a 10-year battery, of course - is simply plugged into the bottom of the detector. Networking with the other smoke detectors is just as easy and happens at the touch of a button! This means that up to 50 detectors can be networked with each other very easily and simply.
The W2 radio module - installed at the bottom of the smoke detector - has its own lithium battery that lasts for 10 years. Networking the radio smoke and heat detectors is extremely simple and can be done in just a few steps.
The radio module has a real repeater function, a real signal amplification. The alarm signal is amplified by each smoke detector and passed on to the next detector. This makes it easy and uncomplicated to overcome floors.
The W2 wireless module from FireAngel also has an integrated first alarm detection. When one detector is triggered, all detectors within the networked, connected group are also triggered. To determine which detector has been triggered while all smoke detectors are sending the alarm signal, all you have to do is press the mute button on the nearest smoke detector - very easy to do with a broom handle, an umbrella, etc. All detectors will then be silenced except for the one that originally triggered the alarm.
